Revolutionizing Recreational Pickleball

Connecting Players, Connecting Communities

The Recreational Pickleball Players Association (RPPA) is set to transform the landscape of America's fastest-growing sport by bringing together recreational pickleball players and offering exclusive travel deals through RPPA TRAVEL.

Their inception comes at a pivotal moment in pickleball's trajectory. Despite the meteoric rise of this sport over the past five years, there has been a notable absence of organizations catering specifically to recreational players who frequent local parks, clubs, and community courts multiple times per week.

RPPA aims to support and nurture the grassroots enthusiasm that has propelled the sport to its current popularity. With a nationwide player’s directory, events calendar, and the first-ever comprehensive pickleball business directory offering members deals and discounts.

Members can enjoy unbeatable savings on hotels, flights, and rental cars, making it easier than ever to travel and play. With support from partners like Diadem Sports, RPPA is set to transform how players connect and explore the pickleball world. See the Yahoo finance article here…

Will 3D Printed Pickleballs Change the Game’s Noise Issues?

Some day…Shhhhh

A new innovation is set to revolutionize the pickleball world by addressing one of the sport's biggest concerns: noise. Co-founders Brandon Teets and Tyler Marvin of Accel Digital Solutions have developed the DigiPro, a 3D-printed pickleball made from thermoplastic elastomer, which promises to be at least 10 times quieter than traditional balls.

Certified by USA Pickleball, the DigiPro retains the size, weight, and bounce of standard balls but eliminates the noise that has led to complaints and even court closures. This breakthrough could be the solution to keeping pickleball's growth on track without the noise issues holding it back.

  💪 Strategies For Seniors Competing
Against Younger Players

Breaking Down Steve Paranto’s Video
On Strategies Against Youngsters!

1. Keep the ball in play. Younger players will get anxious and make more unforced errors.

2. Do not give them attackable balls! Keep your dinks short and low. Do not pop up anything high.

3. Do not got for lines when you are playing doubles. Youngsters can still get to that ball.

4. Do not go for extreme angles in dinking with youngsters. They can execute ATP’s and get to it and recover.

5. Avoid getting into “paddle battles.” Fast hands competitions with youngsters. Do not do speed ups. Stay in the soft game, reset, only attack with a ball they put up to you.

6. I want to play as much as possible a soft game against younger players.

7. Lobbing against senior players does not always work against younger players. You will have to be a much better lobber, with topspin, to get it over them. You will have to disguise it better from the NVZ zone. Lob over their backhand side, or over the slower player.

8. Drop volleys do not work as well against younger players. They can get to it, and you are inviting them to the net.

9. Fourth ball- put it at their feet as they are trying to get to the NVZ. Do not dead drop. Use topspin.

A personal note: About 8 years ago, I was playing 4.5 mixed against some youngsters from San Diego. My partner was a very strong 4.5 senior male. They won the first set, and he was frustrated. I started dinking to the guy, who was the weaker player. I took the girl out of the point. We came back to win the next two sets.

The kids came up to me afterwards and asked, “How did you beat us?” I took them out of their zone, their success against us, and made the less patient player take more balls. I stayed soft and did not give them balls to attack. Pickleball is more like chess than checkers!
